- Ensuring there is an attendant / patient relative/caregiver
with the patient if conscious to help them
- Medication scheduling to prevent error and missing of
drugs
- Maintain Checklist for daily care which has to be followed as a
routin
- Ensuring skin safety is the first thing to be considered, as
immobile patients are at very high risk for skin breakdown. So
positioning every two hours once ,back care,gel cushion at pressure
points has to be done to prevent pressure ulcer
- Muscle contracture, foot drop has to prevented by passive
physiotherapy and with foot rest
- Chest physiotherapy in order to relieve any secretion or
congestion and ensure normal respiratory pattern and
oxygenation
- Personal hygiene to prevent infection
