personal goals for Preceptorship as new graduates in health care and nursing , please help me with 5-10  objectives, its hard for me to get this concept as we student where unable to go in the hospital due to COVID-19.

According to my professor goals must be realistic, measurable, related to the course objectives and demonstrate growth in the ability to care for a group of complex patients. Goals this activity supports: Demonstrate professional development and professional behaviors through self-directed learning. Synthesize nursing theory and research to guide the learning process and to facilitate the design and creation, planning, implementation, and evaluation of a self-designed learning experience in an area of clinical interest

PRECEPTORSHIP: It refers to the relationship between an experienced nursing staff and a newly joined nurse or a nursing student.

As a Student these following can be the objectives:

1. To establish a good rapport and a trusting realtionship with the patient.

2. To take appropriate history.

3. To get involved in the decision making process.

4. To establish communication with the other health care professionals.

5. To obtain organizational skills.

6. To demonstrate commitment to Patient care.

7. To be accurate and efficient in assigned tasks.

8. To improve problem solving skills.

9. To complete the assigned nursing tasks on time.

10. To be able to maintain a professional relationship as a health care professional.
