Barriers to health services include:

A.High cost of care

United States stands among the countries with highest cost for healthcare. Our current policies on healthcare will seldom help the the middle class or lower income groups . This leads to negligent behaviour of the public towards their health issues which ultimately ends in a disastrous condition.

Many other countries in the world which are less developed than United States offer free insurance coverage to its citizens.


B. Inadequate or no insurance coverage

with the cost of healthcare increasing day by day the common man find it's very difficult to meet the requirements. Even now there people with. No insurance And many have insurance which are inadequate for the treatment requirements.

C. Lack of availability of services

The United States being one of the largest countries in the world is still having lack of trained personnel in health care and lack of infrastructure. Majority of a nation's income is being spent on defence and less important things.

Single payer, government run system would cover everyone, without barriers, based on ability to pay. Single payer systems are more equitable; have lower administrative costs; greater user satisfaction; and better quality and access. A pluralistic system that involves the government as well as private, for profit, and not for profit organisations could ensure universal access while giving consumers freedom to buy private supplemental coverage. It would have to include a guarantee that everyone has access to coverage and government subsidies for people who cannot afford to buy coverage. A pluralistic system is more likely to produce inequities in coverage and to have higher administrative costs

C. Formulating better policies emphasizing the need for universal health care. Health Care is every citizens right.

D. Empowerment of whistle blower to control Monopoly in the healthcare. So that expenses will be less.
