Case Study: The Well Aware Program targets all 15,000 NU employees and their spouses at 60 plus work sites throughout the northeast. Approximately 2,500 participants completed two HRAs between 1998 and 2000. Results were impressive –there were a 31% decrease in smoking, 29% decrease in sedentary lifestyle, 11% decrease in cholesterol and 5 % decrease in stress.
