1.Pulmonary hypertension is a rare lung disorder in which the arteries that carry blood from the heart to the lungs become narrowed, making it difficult for blood to flow through the vessels. how he developed PH because he is a chronic smoker.and also has history of bronchitis ,hyperinflated lungs,pulmonary edema and syncope.it leads to pulmanory hypertension

2.The pulmonary arteries are the vessels that move blood from the heart to the lungs, and when they are obstructed, the heart needs to work harder to pump the blood..narrowing blood vessels strains the right ventricle and which leads to CHF..

Pulmanary arterial hypertension also occured by high blood pressure in the blood vessels of lungs.

she had an history of chronic smoker,syncope,hyperinflated lungs,and pulmonary edema.these are the signs and symptoms of chronic heart failure.so her history is fit with her new diagnosis.
