Answer: Parkinson’s disease is brain disorder which leads to
inability to perform daily activities because it causes tremors,
muscles stiffness, poor co- ordination with body and mind.
The clinical manifestations of the Parkinson's disease are:
- Tremors: This the first sign occurs in this disease. Mostly it
is observed in the hands of the patient such as continous shaking
of hands, sometimes lips and difficulty in speaking.
- Bradykinesia: It includes the loss of automatic movements.
Patient becomes to have stooped posture.
- Rigidity: In this disease, there is increased resistance occurs
specially in the passive motion. In the case of the joint
movements, a jerk motion occurs.
- Posture inability: The patient becomes unable to stand
straight, chances of fall is very common.
- Depression: Patient becomes depressed, unable to sleep
etc.
