Thrash Funding Source- Giving Hope Inc.
I want to seek a grant to fund new projects that help to fight poverty and homelessness, specifically through project funding. I found quite a few because homelessness is such a huge epidemic within all societies. Below are my three choices.
#1 The Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation, this would fund the mission in whole, not just a specific area. This is a wonderful grant because it doesn't put any limits on what it must be used for or how, but simply gives the organization money to do as needed with it.
#2 HUD Exchange: CoC Program, this would grant money to this organization to create housing for homeless people in the community which Giving Hope is supporting. This would help build more houses or support up keep for current housing to help give people in the community housing when they don't have any
#3 ESG, the emergency solution grant could be awarded to this organization if they were in a time of need and didn't have enough money to continue to keep their organization running.
Thanks for your question. As per my understanding of the question, you need something what is missing in each of 3 options.
1. In this scenario, firstly how much amount is needed for building homes is missing in the question i.e. how much project funding is needed. In case of Bob and Renee, there is no accountability of what the funds can be used for. This can lead to mismanagement of funds without a proper goal. Additionally, what benefits are they expecting in return for the same.
2. In this case again, the quantum of money is not mentioned. There is a restriction on community to which Giving Hope is supporting. There is no mention of how the houses would be allocated/sold.
3. This is a contingency kind of funding. Again there is no mention of what the funds would be used for and how much can they commit.
