zilog z80 memory hierarchy
Does anyone happen to know the memory hierarchy and speed for the Ti-84 calculator processor (zilog z80)? I've looked all over online and can't find anything.
The ZILOG CPU is an 8-bit based microprocessor, It was introduced by Zilog in 1976. The Zilog Z80 was a software compatible-extension and enhancement of the Intel 8080 and was mainly aimed at the embedded systems. The Z80 offered many improvements over the 8080 :
1)An enhanced instruction set includin single bi addresing, shifts/rotateson memory and registers other than the accumulator.
2)New IX and IY index registers with insructiions for direct base+offset addressing
3)A better interrupt system
