In your view, how conservative was Ronald Reagan as a President? Why might some conservatives feel he did not go far enough, while some liberals felt that he dismantled too much?

President Ronald Reagan was very conservative and he proved with these actions: Reducing the involvement of federal government in local government, having tax cuts so the people would have more money and encouraged supply side economics which lowers taxes and decreased regulation. Some conservatives thought he did not go far enough because he did not initiate laws that would outlaw things such abortion and school player permit. Also, instead of threatening health care programs he made an agreement with the democrats to streghtn them. However, Some liberals thought he dismantled too much because he cute tax and increased spending on US military which impacted the economy. Also, he encouraged deregulation; this was a policy that was aimed to remove communism from fabrics in the US.
