After 1900 people started persuing independence across all over the
world in various forms. They started increasing their struggle and
fight for independence. They started raising their voices in many
forms, few of the ways by which it happened are given below:
- Decolonization of Asia and Africa :
Decolonization is undoing of colonization. And colonization is the
process where a nation mantains its domination and rule on any
overseas territories. It started increasing in mid 1900s when
colonies which were there in Asia and Africa which were mostly
being ruled by various Europian countries started demanding
independence.
The fundamental rights and self determination became the core of
the movement which started demanding for independence. And quite a
dozen of countries in Asia and Africa got decolonized on those
periods.
- Struggle for Democracy : Once various Asian
and African nation got independence from Europian countries they
started demanding democracy within their states. At that time this
movement was so popular that Democracy along with capitalist form
of government raised in power not only in Asia and Africa but
various countries of Europe as well.
- Various Wars across Nations : Various wars
like World War- I, World-War-II were foungth in first half of 1900.
In this various european countries alongwith their colonies took
part. This was one of the biggest reason of weakening of European
country which made them impossible to rule their corresponding
colonies as they were too weak to govern them at the same time
colnies where getting more educated and were revolting against
this. This has given rise to various revolutionary movements in all
the colonial countries which lead to their indepdendence.
