The biggest IT struggles faced by Amazon are keeping up with the technological updates and e-commerce growth of the company. The main struggle faced by the company is to maintaining its e-commerce growth not only domestically but also internationally. As an e-commerce website, amazon has to take care of providing safe transaction for the customers. When a company is dealing at the global platform and that to with online, i.e., e-commerce business, then it is necessary to keeping itself updated as there is some or the other technological update every minute all over the world. This will not only help the company to earn profits but also to create a global presence and value of itself.
McDonald’s is using information technology for ordering at drive-throughs. Its aim is to replace human servers to voice based technological servers. The company hopes that this technology will make the process of ordering more efficient. But the problem arises that the food chain has many outlets, not only in one but many countries worldwide. Serving this technology to every outlet of the company is a major struggle in front of it. It also has its branches in the developing countries, where keeping up with the updated technology is slightly difficult.
