Many research suggest police work is one of the most stressful jobs. Some critics, however, suggest that the emphasis on police stress is a way of shaping the police image and gaining more public sympathy and greater support. What is your opinion?

Answer #1

It can mentioned that both the opinions are partially correct and it depends on various factors location, nature of the duty etc. For instance when the policeman are in a location where most crime take place, it would be very difficult for them to control and this makes it one of the most stressful jobs and in another way when the duty is all about training fellow policeman the job would be less stressful when compared to the former but when you see in the whole scenario where people always attribute policemen to the crime solving side, this gets to give sympathy and support from the public which is not a bad sign at all as this allows the police to do their job more peacefully
