Microeconomics studies about individuals units of the economy whereas the macroeconomics studies about the aggregates of the economy as a whole.

If we look at an individual's approach to his /her income then it is evident that an individual prefers to save some part of income for future emergencies and as a saving for old age.

Whereas if this approach of microeconomics is applied to macroeconomics then it will lead to unemployment , low investment, low GDP, and other kinds of economic problem.
