Our education system has undergone many changes, in fact it is quite better than what we had hundred years ago. Let's discuss what we need more to make our education system more informative for the current and future generation.
Our education system brings creativity and curiosity in children
that will help them to achieve their goal in life. But still
schools in rural areas and some low standard public and government
schools in urban areas do not show much interest in teaching a
child in a more practical way. Children in these schools are
lagging behind the other children reading in expensive schools.
Children are taught theories from their book and not allowed to
study with creativity. They are not encouraged to think outside
their curriculum. Unfortunately, the rigidity of the education
system often takes children away from learning.
Again, the cost of higher education puts parents in trouble, some
of them can't afford to send their children to higher classes after
primary education. Also the higher education in private colleges
and education in some developed countries are more expensive and
parents face difficulties in admitting their children in these
schools. Sometimes, we feel that our education system creates
anxious and fear among children. Children, in some schools are
taught to simply pass their exams than to learn something new.
There are children who motivates themselves and master new skills,
build confidence and self-esteem, this will help them to progress
in their career. Our education system should prepare children for
life, they must know how to face difficulties of life and it should
encourage them to learn new skills. In some cases, due to lack of
awareness, poor education and confidence, children are unable to
solve their own problems and may have a desire to end their
life.
So, in total, we can say that our education system should include
all the information that will help a child to face the difficulties
of life and it should make him/her more creative ,confident and
curious about learning new things.
Yes,our education system impacts our decision for College. Before planning to join college, we may have thoughts like whether college education can prepare us to face the challenges of our life? Whether it will broaden our area of knowledge with more meaningful studies? Whether it will provide us value for our investment?
