Importance of lift truck in DCs and warehouses:

1. Easy material movement.

2. Lesser effort and manpower required to move the material using lift truck.

3. Prevent damaging of materials during movement.

4. Ensure safety and ergonomically safe condition for employees in terms of lifting heavy weight and to heights above shoulder position. In cases where you will ideally need 2-3 person to lift a refrigerator, it can be done easily using a lift truck.

5. Occupy vertical space and save horizontal space by storing inventory in racks, one above other. For e.g.: You can increase the volumetric space utilization by storing inventory one on top of other.
