Answer #1

The resource curse also known as paradox of plenty ,it refers to paradox that countries with an abundance of natural resources tend to have less economic growth and worse development outcomes than countries with fewer natural resources .Natural resources are a source of economic rent which can generate large revenue for those controlling them even in the absence of political stability .Hence there is a political conflict for taking the control of natural resources this lead to non judicious use of natural resources and sometime complete demolision it is against the sustainability principle which lays emphasis on making sure the resources are available to our future generations.
