1. Discuss why those nonrenewable resources are so critical to us.
What’s it used for and why are those things so critical? You need
to be thorough.
iv. For EACH of the 5, discuss 3 things we need to do today
relative to that nonrenewable resource, to avoid running out of
that resource.
1. Discuss the implications of your choices, both positive and
negative. Make sure you have 3 suggestions for EACH of your 5
resources.
1. Land - in may countries land is an non- renewable resource. Scarcity of it due to increased population. Due to this food production has been gone down as people started building on those lands. To avoid these kind of scarcity one could start importing food.
2. Ground water- due to the excessive use of water it's level is depleting and it is hard of humans to fill it artificially.
3.plants , algae and plankton in ancient land - these are in danger due to increased demand of land .
4. Biomass energy - it is renewable resource but can be a non renewable one . It uses the energy found in plants. It relies in biomass feedstocks and if people won't grow plants with feedstock it would become a non renewable resource.
5. Forest - it comes under non renewable because it is hard to create a place with so much different variety of trees and plants and even the forest habitants.
