What are the possibilities and the challenges associated with moving away from industrial agriculture towards sustainable (local) ecological practices in both industrialized and developing countries?

There are a lot of possibilities in moving towards industrial agriculture in the developed countries as the technology is widely available there on the whole, however the challenges there include the fact that the crop yield levels and also there will.be a lot of pollution in such ways on the whole. On the other hand, industrial ways of agri culture is something quite difficult for devoting countries as they don't have the capital nor the technological advancement to move there and unless, a helping hand from the developing countries is available, it is almost impossible.
