Why did the Facebook phone fail?

There are many reasons behind the falling of facebook phone:

(a) Homescreen Problem: The Facebook homescreen dominates the user's experience. However, there is a shortcut to access all your apps but nobody wants their homescreen to be their facebook account.

(b) The hardware: The hardware of the phone was not impressive as compared to other phones.

(c) Too expensive: Its cost was around $99 but it was still so expensive compared to its features and product quality compared to other products.

(d) Competition: The cell phone market is already facing so much competition from different smart phone selling companies and it is very difficult for an entrant to capture the market share which is already dominated by some big large cell phone manufacturers like Apple, Samsung or One plus.
