Answer #1

Due to covid 19 people avoided going to the markets. People refrained themselves from going out and buying essentials. This gave amazom to swoop in and steal all the sales. People started ordering. They did not have to go out. The food and essentials and everything got delivered at their doorstep. This was safe. Also they had many offers to lure new people in. Hence the sales of amazon increased many times. During this covid, people preferred online delivery for everything. It was easier and also cheaper.

Hence the demand curve for amazon shifted rightwards, now due to increased demands, to maintain the equilibrium the supply curve also shifted to the right. Hence the equilibrium was maintained
