As you know banking sectors play a very crucial role in development of the economy and usually they follow this pattern. In the year 2017 , bank Muscat ranked first position in earning profits and then followed by second place is NBO and third place Dofar bank and all these three local banks are acting as big fish and trying to eat other and thus it results in giving space small fishes like HSBC oman , sohar international etc
