Technology advances rapidly in the current market and can become dated and obsolete quickly. Organizations must keep pace with the evolution of technology to compete and sustain a market advantage.
What are some emerging technology trends that have influenced your personal choice of an SDLC, either in your experience or in something you’ve read? Explain the trend and the influence and effect it had on you. Were there any issues? Would you recommend the same SDLC if you had to do it again?
Solution : As we know that there are are so many technologies which are emerging day by day in the SDLC ( software development life cycle). I am mostly influenced by cloud computing and IoT ( Internet of Things ). So, I am going to brief about Cloud computing and IoT below :
(A) Cloud Computing : Cloud Computing is one of the technology for providing computational services to their different users of different groups by processing and storing the application data. Rise of cloud computing is resulting in more economic growth and more benefits. Apart from this, Rise of Cloud computing is also improving computing performance, scalability, portability under both time and budget constraint. Another benefit of using cloud-based services is that we can easily access our data, programs or anything stored in the cloud anytime and from anywhere with the help of any web-enabled system or device. This could also reduce the accessing time, efforts and extra costs of accessibility and availability in the business.
I am listing out a few of the advantages of using Cloud Computing while using SDLC :
1. Computing economics : It is a way / direction for providing computational modeling of economic systems under the combination of computer science and management science. This helps in solving problems of internal marketing without using any computational tools like computers or any numerical methods.
2. Advanced in data analysis : This is one of the most important way of providing inferences by analyzing data. In today's world, Data analysis is very helpful for any organization because analysis of data helps in identifying business loss and profit both. Advancing in data analysis can definitely result in perfect extraction of knowable aspects from many types of data in the world.

(B) IoT ( Internet of Things
) : IoT is a system which helps in connecting digital devices or
machines, objects, animals as well as people for transferring the
information or data with each other over the internet so that
human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction could be smooth and
could be improved. Let's see how IoT devices communicate : IoT
devices communicate with each other using several protocols over
the internet or wireless connection. I am listing out a few of the
technologies which IoT devices are using to communicate with each
other :
(1) Radio Frequency (RF) and Radiofrequency identification (RFID) -
IoT devices are using electromagnetic fields wirelessly so that
they could easily identify the objects.
(2) WiFi
(3) Satellite
(4) Near Field Communication (NFC) using electromagnetic induction
process
(5) Using the technology of chirping ( broadcasting data )
(6) LoRaWAN
(7) SIGfox
(8) Cellular or internet connection.
(9) Bluetooth - For exchanging / transferring the data /
information within short distances.

Question : Were there any issues ?
Answer : As we know that everything has its pros and cons. Similarly, These two emerging technologies also have some issues. But the issues can be easily reduced and avoided because these two technologies are increasing the market capitalization value as well as organization revenue under both time and budget constraint. These two technologies are also improving the agility of the organization.
Question : Would you recommend the same SDLC if you had to do it again?
Solution : As we have already discussed that the technologies are changing day by day. So, for now, I would recommend these two technologies. Maybe the technologies could change after some time. But for better agility, better integrity, high scalability, and better flexibility, I would recommend these two technologies.
