SDLC methodology is one of the very famous methodology which is
used in most of the DOJ information system due to various reasons
such as they can be easily accessible in various information
technology environments which includes mainframe, client, server.
So SDLC methodology acts a very important role in most of the
categories of DOJ which includes the people who use or responsible
for information system development. The project managers and
development team leaders are the main audiences of DOJ-SDLC
SDLC in DOJ consists of 10 phases they are
- Initiation phase: This phase gets initiated
when there is an important need in real-world business gets
identified.
- System Concept Development Phase: This is the
second space in which SDLC will discover what is the scope of the
system which we are going to implement, what types of requirement
needed and final approval of funding happens
- Planning Phase: How the DOJ should be
developed is planned in this phase
- Requirement Analysis Phase: Functional user
requirements are formally defined in this phase
- Design Phase: Physical characteristics of the
required application are designed in this phase
- Development Phase: The DOJ is developed based
on design, planning, and requirement in this phase
- Integration and test phase: Various test is
done for the application and checked for any error in this
phase
- Implementation phase: The DOJ is successfully
implemented here
- Operation and Maintenance phase: Maintenance
and various operation of DOJ happens here
