Answer #1

Q.Compare windows 8 vs windows 10 justifying why windows 10 is a better option?

Answer:

  • The Start menu : the main difference between windows 8 and windows 10 is the start menu. A huge problem with Windows 8 was neglecting to have a classic desktop and Start menu. Windows 10 is bringing that familiarity back along with adding the tiles from Window 8 – all of which is highly customizable.
  • Multiple Desktops : Windows 10  is allowing the user to add or remove multiple desktops with the ability to open programs in whichever desktop you’d like. alos the Task View has been updated so that you can toggle from program to program with ease, no matter which desktop it’s launched on. But in windows 8 mainly forced users to better manage their desktop and applications on a single desktop.

  • Cortana : Cortana is your very own personal assistant that brings you content when you need it. Not only will she search for things on your PC, mobile device, or the web, but she also learns about you and your search habits the more you use her. This helps her provide proactive search results and ultimately provide you with information on a regular basis without you asking.

  • Action Center :  Your smartphone give you  notifications for messages, updates, and even breaking news, so why shouldn't your PC? With Windows 10, it does. Similar to the macOS Notification Center, the Action Center shows messages from email, the system itself and from apps. You may see a weather warning or a birthday reminder which is better than windows 8.

  • Security : Windows 10 inherits the Secure Boot feature from Windows 8 and makes it even more secure. This requires that any code that runs right when the OS starts is signed by Microsoft or the hardware maker. Unlike Windows 8, Windows 10 PCs can be set up so that this feature cannot be bypassed.
