Ans. And Gate - And gates are used to enable/inhibit the data transfer function.

Example- And gate logic is used in a case where both conditions need to be satisfied. Like if their is a machine on and door shut so and gate will be applied in such way like if the machine is on and the door is open then machine can work but if the machine is on or the door is shut machine should not work and vice versa.

Or Gate - OR gates are used in automatic digital control circuits. There are many sensors are used to detect faults in an industry. The sensor creates a signal if any fault occurs. Then OR gates give command signals to the main processor for the shutdown. OR gates are used in Door Bell Switches.
