explain how bouyant force develops

explain how bouyant force develops

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Bouyant Force :- It is the upward force which is exerted by fluid when an object is placed in a liquid. The Bouyant force comes from the pressure exerted on the object by the fluid. The Buoyant force is present whether the object floats or sinks .The force is upward because the pressure on the bottom of an object is always larger than force on the top as the pressure increases as the depth increases. The magnitude of the force is proportional to the pressure difference and is equivalent to the weight of the fluid that would otherwise occupy the submerged volume of the object, i.e the displaced fluid. So in this way bouyant force gets acted upon the body.
