You are writing a note in a technical operations manual for a engineering firm. Explain what a ABC fire extinguisher is.
“ABC” fire extinguishers are filled with a fine yellow powder. They are composed of mono ammonium phosphate (Dry Chemical).
This fine yellow powder can put out all three classes of fire
1. Class-A (Trash, Wood, Paper)
2. Class-B (Liquid and gasses)
3. Class-C (Energized electronic sources)
The extinguishers are pressurized with nitrogen.
ABC extinguishers are red, they range in size from 5 to 20 pounds. These are the most
common and will probably be what you would be using. They are found in all buildings
