Reaction with copper(ii) sulfate with NaOH is a double displacement reaction
CuSO4 + 2NaOH = Cu(OH)2 + NaSO4
NaOH is strong base while CuSO4 is salt. When we mix these solution in water they form blue precipitate of basic copper hydroxide and the other solution is salt of sodium sulphate. And it is not a dangerous reaction since it is happening in dilute condition.
For cleaning up this chemical you can use Sulfuric Acid to Neutralize the Copper hydroxide and it will form back copper sulphate.
