Select 1 jar of pureed meat, 1 jar of pureed vegetable, and 1 jar of pureed fruit. Buy them and take them home.
Taste each at room temperature and try them warmed up. This is what your patients on pureed diet are eating.

Pureed food can taste good if the consistency of the foods is kept right. The taste of food can vary if the consistency is too thick or thin.

Pureed food tastes tge same as solid food only the consistency varies.

Pureed meat tastes good. Patients may add some flavour to it by adding salt, sugar or spices if permitted.

Pureed vegetables tastes the same as the vegetable in solid form.

Pureed fruits tastes great. Citrus fruit puree tastes a little bit sour while fruits with high sugar content tastes sweet.
