Serial dilutions Please draw how to prepare this serial dilution
prepare a series of p nitrophenyl phosphate concentrations from 1x10^2 M from to 3.125x10^-4 using the DEA buffer as diluent. do this by srial diluting the 1x10^-2M stock by 1/2 so you end up with 2 ml each of p-nitrophenyl phosphate concentrations of 5x10^-3M, 2.5X10^-3M, 1.25x10^-3M, 6.25x10^-4M and 3.125x10^-4M
The diluton scheme starts by diluting at 1/2 each serial dilution starting from the original solution of [p-nitrophenyl-phosphate]0 of 1.0.10-2M. The first dilution number 0 is with 4 ml of 1.0.10-2M. Next dilutions starts with 2.0ml from each previous dilution and adding 2 ml of DEA in each succesive dilution.
The scheme is:
In dilution 0: [p nitrophenylphosphate]0= 1.0.10-2M. It must not need DEA buffer
It needs 2.0ml of DEA
It also needs 2.0 ml of DEA
This dilution scheme and calculus continue until dilution number 5
