The nucleus has at least 1 proton.

Als, there should be at least 1 electron if not charged

it took up more than millenials to come pu with atomic theory

starting with Democritus in greece (theory or hypothesis of undivisible matter)

then, Bohr, Rutherford, Schroedingers models

we use atomic structure for understading of light/photons, matter, chemistry reactions, bondings, energy etc...

gold foil --> stated that the nucleus had a larger space/mass than the electrons
