a) H2SO4, molecular weight= 98, Equivalent weight= Molecular weight/2 ( since there are two replaceble hydrogens)

Equivaelnt weight= 98/2= 49

b) Molecular weight of Na2CO3= 2*23+12+48= 106 . There are two replaceble Na ions. Hence equivalent weight= Molecular weight/2 =106/2= 53

c) There are two replaceble (OH) in Ca(OH)2. Hence Equivalent weight= Molecular weight/2= 74/2= 37

d) there are two replacable F in F2S and hence Equivalent weight= 70/2 =35

e) there is one replacable H in KHCO3 hence Equivalent weight= Molecular weight/1= 100/1
