(1):- As we know that human body functions are primarily occurred with the help of glucose and many times it is also found that people are suffering from diabetes or having less glucose and do not have enough insulin to help the cells of the body to absorb glucose and in this stage your body starts breaking down fats into energy. And thus breakdown of fats for energy and so creation of ketones is a very essential and common process which produced in the body.

(2):- Main role of ketone is to produce energy. Ketone bodies are transported from the liver to other tissues, where acetoacetate and beta-hydroxybutyrate can be reconverted to acetyl-CoA to produce energy, via the citric acid cycle. So, to produce energy in our body is the main role of ketone bodies.
