when the car windows fog over, the water vapour present in the air mixture become condensed on the windows.generally this occurs when there is a large difference in day time and evening time temperatures.humid air contains water in the form of vapour untill it reaches the reaches dewpoint.This dew point is reached when cooling the humid air untill the saturation.when exposed surface cooled by radiating its heat energythen moisture cindense, resulting the formation of water droplets on objects like glass.
