Answer #1

Solution:

Various symptoms can indicate a disease but a proper lab test/s for infection are the only way to confirm a diagnosis. First and foremost test i woulf prefer is an antibody test. Antibodies are specific proteins made by the immune system to fight the specific infectious agent. The body develops antibodies according to the antigens expressed on the surface of pathogen. This test looks for antibodies to a specific viral infction. Usually this test has ben executed in blood samples of the patients.

Other preffered tests are

1. PCR based test to detect the genetic material (DNA/RNA) of infectious agent. This also uses blood/tissue/other fluids. This is comparitivly expensive but precise for the exact detection.

2. Viral antigen detection

3. Viral culture detection: Invitro method
