Humans are vulnerable to choking because of a phylogenetic constraint: when the structures that would eventually evolve into lungs first evolved, evolution lacked the foresight to head off a future choking risk once lunge became the sole way of breathing. Can you think of another example of how phylogenetic constraint and evolution's lack of foresight has left the human body vulnerable to disease, injury, inefficiencies, or malfunction?

Another example is of appendix it was of use to our ancestors in the digestion of cellulose but with generation passed our body didn't needed to digest cellulose hence appendix became vestigial organ . But due to lack of foresight the appendix is found still in us which do not do any function as it was before and if any food particle gets in appendix it start to swell and cause lots of pain and finally burst. If a person gets appendix removed at that time he is relieved but if not then the person dies due to appendix burst.
