Hair colour will be a polygenic trait.

This is because, in the question it is given that human hair colour is determined by 7 genes. Because more than one genes are involved in the regulation of hair colour, we will call it as a polygenic trait. Poly means many and genic means genes.

Another term for polygenic trait is multifactorial trait. Multi means many and factor word is indicating genes.

This will also be an nvironmental controlled trait. The characteristic feature of polygenic trait is that they are not only controlled by more than one genes, but they are also influenced by the environment.

For example, hair colour of human beings living in America is blonde but those living in Africa is very dark.
