How is translation termination realized? What’s the chemical step involved?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Translation termination happens at the time when ribosomes come accross the stop codon.

These stop codon displace ribosomes till reach the point. End of the process of translation is known as translation termination.

It occur when the stop codon in mRNA (UAG, UAA,UGA) get into site A.

The subunit of large ribosomal or small ribosomal when separate through the mRNA or from one another element are ready to participate in the other translation round.

This includes three stages:

Initiation that is the beginning stage include togetherness of ribosomes with mRNA and prior tRNA due to which translation begin.

Elongation is middle stage in which ribosomes and amino acid become closure by tRNA and then linkage are done which form the chain.

Termination that is last stage in which the final polypeptide get released and ready for doing job in cell.
