Which of the following method uses “Heat Shock”?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Ans- heat shock method is used for bacterial transformation. transformation means the ingestion of foreign DNA or plasmid DNA from its surroundings. in the heat shock method calcium-rich environment used to counteract the electrostatic repulsion between DNA and bacterial membrane (competent bacterial cell). in heat shock method cells are placed into water bath at 42 *C for 30 seconds.  the sudden increase in temperature crates pore in the bacterial membrane which allows the enters of the DNA into the competent bacterial cell. after heat shock cells are immediately cooled in ice.

Complete the following C# code that uses the DisplayPrice() method for displaying one price from the array of 4 prices. Because the DisplayPrice() method uses an array, an IndexOutOfRangeException might be thrown. Write a try block in which prompt the user for a subscript value and displays the appropriate price value stored in the corresponding array position. Create a catch block that catches any IndexOutOtRangeException, displays an appropriate error message and a price of $0.

Consider the closed-economy model.Suppose the economy is then hit by an adverse supply shock, which causes P1 to jump up to P2 > P1. Using Keynesian cross and money market diagrams, explain what will happen to the IS and LM curves in the short run as a result of this shock.  Use IS-LM and AD-AS diagrams to show what happens to the economy in the short-run, long-run, and during the transition, following the supply shock.

Describe the normal biochemical and/or physiological process of Heat shock proteins and identify how it confers a benefit to an organism in dealing with an environmental stressor. Next, explain why an over-active response could become a biochemical or physiological issue. Give an example of an organism that this issue of “too much of a good thing” relates to, specifying the benefits and costs. Does the example organism you chose successfully deal with the potential for an over-active response, or not?...
