4) wolff's Law : If any one of the bone is under any stress or load for continuous time , then bone adapts some internal as well as external structural changes in the bone . These adaptations are helpful for the bone for the increased mechanical stress

To prove this theory , we take torus mandibularis as an example

It is the body extension near the base of the tongue . It is formed by the continuous grinding process of the teeth , which causes increased load on the underlying bone .so it tells that torus mandibularis helps to resist the stress by grinding of the teeth . Torus mandibularis clearly proves the wolff's law
