Why do sensory systems not relay the environment objectively?
The above statement is true for the olfactory system as well. Please describe how "reality is distorted" in this system.
Answer :)
The sensory systems learn what our senses bring information to the brain. Smells, sights, and touches make a learned behavior in the brain. The brain fails because it is made to relay signals what we learned not what we sensed. To increases senses, we just need to focus on the senses, not on the brain. Senses cannot relay information objectively if they are not using their 100% potentiality. That is why when our sensory systems are instructed to send signals for the environment objectively, it fails.
