However, it is known that exactly one of bars is defective and worth nothing. the problem is that they don’t know which is the defective bar. the pirates come up with the following strategy. pirate A pick 5 bars at random, then pirate B pick 5 bars from the remaining. Then pirate C pick 5 randomly from the remaining bars. then pirate D get last 5. who has best chance to avoid the defective bar?
