d. increased sales volume

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Your required answer is option D i.e. Increased Sales Volume.

Explanation:

Just in time inventory system meand that the inventory Raw material/work-in-progress/finished goods will be received in time. Products will completed just-in-time and therefore to be sent to customer just-in-time.

Since in case of just-in-time inventories are manufactured/ready to sold immediately or just-in-time therefore it will reduce the cost of storage/rent, and it will also reduce the defect of inventory and it will increased manufacturing flexibility.

However it will not affect the sales volume therefore that is not an outcome of Just-in-time system.

I hope this clear your doubt.
