Then comment on what population you would generalize your findings to and why.

We would not generalize your findings to any other year or to any other university because there are other confounding variables other than gender affecting Acceptance Status of College graduate applications such as scores scored, academic achievements, additional qualifications etc., which have not been controlled in the experimentation, making the result of the generalization unreliable.
