The organization (Adelaide Airport) wants to know if there are differences in people’s perceptions and behaviours based on their Gender* and Frequent Flyer Status*. Outline two (2) common statistical tests for determining differences between groups. Explain both of these tests and how they could be used to address the company’s questions. What type of question format would you need for each test to consider differences between groups?

The two statistical test that can be used here are Chi-square test of Independence and Mann Whitney U test. Chi-square square test can used because it is specially for measuring association or difference between two categorical variables and Mann Whitney is also another non parametric test that is used to measure differences between categorical data also and it will tell us whether female or male has the highest frequent flyer status using the mean rank of the gender and the p-values will also shows the gender that has more significant effect than the others that whether male has more significant effect or female has more significant effect.
Question type can be 1 " is there a significant difference in people's perception and behavior on their gender and Frequent Flier status". 2 Which is the relationship between gender and Frequent flyer status?
