Productivity is concern. For each employee, there is data on productivity as well as other factors. Find out how much these factors explain about the variation in productivity from one employee to another. Identify the Y variable, the X variables, and the appropriate statistic or test.

Answer #1

Dear student, please comment in the case of any doubt and I would love to clarify it.

Employee productivity depends upon many factors such as training, development, and satisfaction.

Here Y variable will be productivity.

X variables will be Training(Yes = 1, No = 0), Development(Yes = 1, No = 0) and Satisfaction(how satisfied the employee is).

The satisfaction can be measured using a satisfaction index out of 10(10 being the most satisfied and 0 being the least satisfied).

Productivity = Total output / Total input

This way, you can calculate the productivity of the company as well as of an individual.

An occupational psychologist wishes to assess two different methods of manager supervision in influencing employee productivity. One method involves constant supervision by the workplace manager, while the second method involves intermittent (every 15 minutes) supervision by the workplace supervisor. To test whether constant versus intermittent supervision may influence workplace productivity differently, the psychologist first randomly selects 8 employees at his/her organization. Over the course of two weeks, each of the n = 8 employees is exposed to each of the...

Let’s say we’re designing an Employee class that has two data fields. One data field, called id, is for storing each employee’s ID number. Another data field, called numEmployees, keeps track of how many Employee objects have been created. For each of the blanks, indicate the appropriate choice. id should be ( public/private ) and ( static/not static ) numEmployees should be (public/private) and (static/not static )

1.Think about the mixed design idea (at least one independent variable is independent while the other is correlated). Give me two benefits of this design (compared to a design that has only independently assigned independent variables or only correlated variables). 2.You now know we consider both main effects and interactions in factorial designs. I hope that it is apparent that we also have a hypothesis (and null hypothesis) for each main effect as well as the interaction. Think about a...
