Given the sample 6, −1, 6, 11, −6, −7, add one more sample value
that will neither change the median nor the range. Round to two
decimal places as necessary.
If this is not possible, indicate "Cannot create sample".

A: What is the mean of the data set? If your answer is not an
integer, round your answer to one decimal place.
(b) What is the median of this
data set? If your answer is not an integer, round your answer to
one decimal place.
(c) How many modes does the data set have, and what are their
values? Indicate the number...

A new set of measurements are obtained with the values 0, 1,2,

average value of the measurements and the statistical uncertainty
based on the measurements.

(5) For a given set of data, the SAMPLE
MIDRANGE = 48. Which of the following comments about the
value of the SAMPLE MEDIAN for that data set is
MOST reasonable? (A) It must lie within 4.8 units of 48. (B) It
must be LESS THAN 48.
(C) NO statement could reasonably be made
regarding the possible value of the
SAMPLE MEDIAN. (D) It must be HIGHER THAN

I am working on finding the IQR of a certain set of values. I
have 1,000 different values in the data set.
I've calculated the mean - 674, median - 680 and mode - 632. The
variance is 10,878, STD - 104 and IQR: Q1 - 595 and Q3 - 595. IQR =
156.
When evaluating what the IQR is telling me.... how do I compare
this to the median of the data set? Are the values in the data...
