I have to create a logit and data for 1985 to 2018 Oscar winners to predict...

I have to create a logit and data for 1985 to 2018 Oscar winners to predict this year's winner. Using explanatory variables like nominations for, and other possible related awards. I was wondering how do I input a logit data? Especially for the dependent variable.

Following are some hints with which you may pass your data to Logit Model(Logistic),

1) You already have response that is winners

2) Create all the list of possible contestants for this, whoever won this award write 1 (win) and whoever not win this award write 0 (Not win)]

3) This will give you the binary response as Win/Not Win (1/0)

4) So each entry will represent the contestant for the Oscar.

5) In independent variables you can have different input data against respective contestant
