GPS is a system of orbiting satellites used for navigation
purposes and capable of giving highly accurate geographic
co-ordinates using hand held receivers
GPS system is a set of satellites which allows receivers to
determine their exact location 24 hours a day
Buildings, terrain, electronic interference, or sometimes even
dense foliage can block signal reception, causing position errors
or possibly no position reading at all. GPS units typically will
not work indoors, underwater or underground.
