Is it plausible to say that sea turtles have the purpose of living in the sea, in the sense that are made or adapted to live in the sea? How does your answer agree or disagree with what Freud says about animals?
Sea turtles are adapted to live in the sea. The features of sea turtles are adapted in a way that helps them to live in the sea water. Thus, it is plausible to say that sea turtles have the purpose of living in the sea, and that they cannot live on land as other land animals would. Freud says that animals are driven by their drives and instincts, they are not conscious of what they are doing, they just follow their instincts. As the sea turtle is adapted to sea, and out side the sea it cannot sustain it's life for long. Similarly, animals are driven by their innate drives and instincts without which they cannot sustain their life. This is true of animals what Freud has said of them.
